Coleen Rooney shares cute snap of Wayne and kids getting stuck into Easter bonnet making

Coleen Rooney shared how she had been keeping her four sons and husband Wayne Rooney entertained over the Easter weekend.

The mum to Kai, 10, Klay, six, Kit, four, and Cass, two, got crafty making DIY Easter bonnets outside in the sunshine.

Coleen, 34, was joined by a very focused Wayne, also 34, as they decorated hats and painted wrist bands to wear on Easter Sunday.

Sharing a series of snaps to her Instagram Coleen wrote in the caption: “Easter bonnet and slap band making in the sun….this weather reminds me of warm Easters when I was young.”

Coleen took to Instagram to share the results of the session and how she had helped her sons make their own individual bonnets.

In one snap the footballer’s wife was helping her son attach an some yellow ribbon to a straw hat with a yellow chick sat on top of it.

The mum-of-four soaked up the sun and tanned her shoulders in a strapless leopard print top keeping her hair off her face with a headband.

In another image Wayne looks engrossed in his creation glueing mini chicks together before sticking them to the bonnets.

The Rooney clan were all gathered round a large table covered with a protective cloth in the back garden during the afternoon activities.

In the background a large climbing frame could be seen as well as a play area for their four children to enjoy.

Coleen shared the finished bonnets sat out in the sunshine on their neatly trimmed grass adorned with fluffy chicks and felt bunny rabbits along with the message “Happy Easter”.

The group activities come a week after Coleen celebrated her 34th birthday while in lockdown during the coronavirus outbreak.

She shared a cute black and white photo of her family all together in bed smiling away, Coleen wrote in the caption: “Good morning. Hope everybody is staying safe.”

It was taken the morning after her birthday where Wayne had prepared a cake as a surprise for his wife, sharing a photo of her with their brood on his own Instagram page

The footballer wrote in the caption joking about being in lockdown and unable to celebrate her birthday properly: “Happy Birthday @coleen_rooney. House party our boys it is!!” (sic)

The couple have been staying at their Cheshire mansion during self-isolation, with Coleen sharing how she was keeping her boys busy.

During the first day of The Body Coach Joe Wicks’ virtual PE lesson Coleen, along with Stacey Solomon joined some 806,000 families tuned into the 30-minute remote lesson.

Coleen shared a video of her kids in front of their televisions to exercising in their sports gear as they followed along to the simple routine, with Coleen tagging @thebodycoach in her Instagram Stories.
