Dancing on Ice skating professionals Alexander Demetriou and Carlotta Edwards are “taking a break” from their marriage, according to reports.
The skating stars are said to be isolating away from one another amid the coronavirus lockdown, weeks after Alexander, 28, was spotted leaving his former skating partner Maura Higgins’ home.
A source has tipped how Carlotta, 30, who was paired with Ben Hanlin on DOI this year, has removed her wedding ring and flown to her native of Canada to be with her family.

Meanwhile, it’s understood Alex, 28, who apparently removed his ring in January, has stayed in the UK.
The insider told The Sun: “Carlotta and Alex are taking a break from their marriage and are trying to work out what they want from the future.
“Isolation is giving them a lot of time to think and both are with their families.

Alexander and Carlotta’s marriage was reported to have “collapsed” following his friendship with Love Island babe Maura, 29, earlier this year.
But, the pair put on a united front to shut down the reports with a loved-up selfie on Instagram in March.
But, the insider has said things are over between the pair. They said: “Their friends think the marriage is over because of how close Alex is with Maura. The trust between them has been shattered.

“At the start, everyone thought it was just a flirtation but Alex and Maura are in constant contact now and it’s obvious for everyone around them to see what is going on.
“Carlotta has seemed hell-bent on keeping up the pretence that everything is fine.
“But now she’s coming to terms with what has happened and is having a serious think about where she goes from here.”

Since travelling to Canada, Carlotta has shared a number of posts of her and her family enjoying the ice in Calgary, Alberta.
Meanwhile, in a video of Carlotta dancing in a kitchen, which she shared on her Instagram story, she appears to have her wedding ring off.
But, Alexander hasn’t updated his social media since his appearance on this year’s DOI.
It comes weeks after Maura insisted she and Alexander were “just friends” after he was spotted leaving her flat in March.
She wrote to her 154,000 Twitter followers: “2020 & yet again a man & woman can not be friends!
“Me & Alex are friends + joe and I are friends! YES I have more male friends than female! GET OVER IT!!!” (sic)
Representatives for Alexander and Carlotta declined to comment when contacted by OK! online.
