Their children are not on William and Kate’s Caribbean trip. In a speech, however, the Duchess seemed to be with her offspring.

Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (40) arrived in the Bahamas on Friday – the last stop of their eight-day Caribbean trip. When they arrived, the weather seemed anything but to cooperate. But Kate simply beamed away the rain with her mint green chiffon dress – including an umbrella. The wet conditions did not detract from her speech either.

In this, the 40-year-old raved not only about the country, but also about her three children: “We are so excited to be here in the Bahamas, a country where we feel so at home as soon as we set foot on its set the ground.” Accordingly, Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3) would “like” to visit the Caribbean country.

“Our three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, all love being by the sea,” Kate said. She hopes that her offspring will “soon” be able to enjoy the “clear water” and the “beautiful beaches”.

Little contact in the pandemic

Kate also spoke of the difficulties that the pandemic has caused many people. One of them was the contact restriction, from which school children in particular suffered: “I always think that it’s the simple things in life that give us the most joy: playing together, chatting with our friends at school, eating together and the Listening to each other’s stories.”

The connections and friendships that develop during school are something “very special”. Her appeal: “Appreciate them and take time for them. And remember to be kind, understanding and loving to yourself and others.”

William and Kate’s Bahamas Program

In the Bahamas, there are again many appointments for Duchess Kate and Prince William on the program: including a sailing regatta in honor of Queen Elizabeth II (95) platinum jubilee, a visit to a coral farm that was awarded the Earthshot Prize created by William Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands, which were devastated by Hurricane Dorian.
