Fury in the Slaughterhouse: cult band releases an album after 13 years

Comeback of a cult band: The Hanoverians from Fury in the Slaughterhouse are releasing a studio album again after 13 years.

With the single "Sometimes (Stop To Call)", Fury in the Slaughterhouse heralds a new era: Twelve years after their breakup, the Hanover-based rock band has announced a new album to be released in 2021.

Despite their dissolution, the members kept coming together for concerts, but there was never any new music. Singer Kai Wingenfelder (60), who founded the band in 1986 with his brother Thorsten (54), explains how the band got back together: "We have known each other since we were young, we toured America together, we sold millions of albums – You don't just throw it away. That's why we played on special occasions from time to time. " But it really sparked when they played the "class reunion" concerts in 2017.

There will also be a live tour in 2021

The new studio album "NOW" will be released on April 23, 2021, the single "Sometimes (Stop To Call)" is already available. A major open-air tour is also planned for summer 2021: It starts on June 6th in Wiesbaden, the finale will take place on September 3rd in Creuzburg.

Fury in the Slaughterhouse was one of the most successful bands in the country in the 1990s and also celebrated international success. Since they were founded in 1986, the Hanoverians have played over 1,500 concerts and sold more than four million records.
