No one really expected it, but Kratos invited himself to the Game Awards ceremony. Sony Santa Monica took the opportunity to present Valhallaa DLC for
God of War: Ragnarok. And, double good news, it will be free, and will be released on December 12, 2023 on PS4 and PS5.
This is about continuing the story of the title released last year, while plunging Kratos face to face with his demons. Our favorite bald man embarks on a journey full of introspection towards Valhalla towards a future he never imagined possible. An adventure that will mix the well-known combat system and elements inspired by roguelites.
The program for this DLC for God of War: Ragnarok should therefore be fairly easy to anticipate. Get your head smashed repeatedly by various creatures, while collecting temporary bonuses as you progress. Sony Santa Monica thus promises us a game mode which will require mastering everything that could be present in Kratos’ arsenal. He will have access to all his weapons, a complete skill tree, but only one Spartan Rage per attempt. All in 5 difficulty modes, offering more and more rewards after each fight.
