A 49-year-old man from Klagenfurt was on Friday at 11 a.m. in the course of cleaning work on a residential building in downtown Klagenfurt. He had set up an aluminum stepladder to clean a glass canopy.
He fell from the ladder from a height of about two meters onto the concrete steps of the entrance area. The man injured himself to an indefinite degree and could no longer stand up on his own. He was brought to the UKH Klagenfurt by the ambulance.
