US actress Julia Stiles (40, “10 things I hate about you”) is expecting her second baby with husband Preston J. Cook early next year. This was confirmed by a spokesman for “People” magazine. On Thursday, Stiles presented her baby bump at a screening of “The Humans” in New York City.
“Lightning wedding” one month before the birth
Julia Stiles and Preston J. Cook have been married since September 2017. The actress confirmed the news of the wedding in an Instagram post and wrote: “Who doesn’t love a lightning wedding?” next to a winking emoji. “You got married with two friends on the beach in Seattle on Labor Day weekend,” confirmed Stiles’ representative later in a statement to “People”.
The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve 2015 at a private estate in Isla Grande, Colombia, after the two met on their film “Go with Me” – for which Cook worked as a camera assistant.
Just one month after the “lightning wedding”, their first child, son Strummer, was born in October 2017.
