A young schoolboy was kidnapped last Tuesday before being dropped off with his grandmother 48 hours after her kidnapping.
A drama avoided. An 11-year-old schoolboy was kidnapped this Tuesday, October 5 in Saint-Quentin (Aisne). Anxious not to see him in class, the schooling of his establishment alerted his mother around 9 am. The latter quickly went to the police station to file a complaint for kidnapping.
According to the information of L’Aisne Nouvelle, three individuals in a black BMW with tinted windows would have kidnapped the child who was walking to his college at the time of the facts. According to Maître Antonini, lawyer at the Saint-Quentin Bar, the college student was taken to several places. During his interrogation, he explains that he was in “A garage in Lille”, before being driven “In an apartment in Beauvais”. The boy was “well treated” as his uncle assures him, who indicates that“He was fed and he was able to wash himself”.
Circumstances that remain to be resolved
48 hours after his kidnapping, the boy was brought back to his grandmother’s home in Amiens at around 3:20 a.m., on the night of Wednesday 6 to Thursday 7 October. “They dropped off the little one who recognized the house. He knocked on her house ”, informs her uncle.
For now, the kidnappers have not been arrested. The Saint-Quentin prosecutor’s office announces that “Many investigations are in progress” to determine the circumstances of this kidnapping which, fortunately, ends well.
