Due to the current Corona situation, many companies will also be holding a digital Christmas party in 2021. So there is still a good mood.
In the weeks before Christmas Eve, Christmas parties are again on the program for many companies. Due to the corona pandemic, however, many companies are switching to digital solutions instead of toasting with the workforce in the office. With these suggestions there will be no boredom in video chat – and maybe even a bit of real Christmas spirit will return.
A Christmas movie night
How about a movie evening together? Colleagues can also watch films together in video chat if they are members of a streaming service. Disney + offers the so-called “GroupWatch” function, on Amazon Prime Video there is the “Watch Party” feature and above Tools like “Teleparty” the whole thing also works with Netflix. Christmas classics like “Kevin – Alone at home” are of course particularly good.
Escape rooms have been very popular in the past few years. Participants are locked in a room and have to solve puzzles in order to escape within a certain time limit. Crime dinners, at which murder cases have to be solved, have also been popular for years. There are variants on the net that can be played online, for example by “Stadthelden” and “Culinario Mortale”.
The participants of the virtual Christmas party should take care of the background music themselves. It is even more fun when several people from the team accompany the whole thing with one instrument. Treats are provided
So that the physical well-being is not neglected, the boss can, for example, send the employees a few gingerbread, cookies and nuts in advance. Or how about a recipe and the necessary spices for a mulled wine? The colleagues then prepare one or more cups for themselves.
A meal together also enables cozy togetherness via video chat. A colleague orders for the whole team from a delivery service. For this purpose, the representative can look for a few options in advance. In any case, there should be alternatives so that – as with the previous proposal – employees with intolerances are not excluded.
