Can “Oppenheimer” hit the box office like a bomb? At least in the cinema duel against “Barbie” and “Mission: Impossible 7” Christopher Nolan’s new film seems to lose out.

The first major feature film of the summer, “Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny”, is currently falling short of the high expectations. So now all eyes are on the three big reboots in July: “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part 1”, “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie”.
The last two films in particular soon provide a tremendous showdown, because two blockbusters are rarely released on the same day and the differences between the two productions make the comparisons between “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie” really amusing.
Which movie will win? That’s what film fans around the world are asking themselves, but it depends on how you define “winning” here. “Oppenheimer” is clearly at a disadvantage in several areas and will therefore have a hard time in the cinema, at least in direct comparison to “Barbie”.
