Paris Jackson has released her first single as a solo artist. The song is called "Let Down".

Paris Jackson (22), daughter of the late "King of Pop" Michael Jackson (1958-2009), has released her first single as a solo artist. On Friday night, the associated music video appeared on YouTube. The song is called "Let Down".

"This song means a lot to me"

Jackson had previously announced on Instagram that her first solo single would be released on Friday. In a short clip she teased the song and wrote, among other things, that she was grateful to her family, close friends and colleagues for their support. Making music is what Jackson enjoyed most in the world.

The singer also thanked her followers. Her fan base has always been "so gracious and supportive and loving" to her. "This song means a lot to me because it's a small part of a much bigger story," said Jackson. She put her heart and soul into the song. "Let Down" heralds their new album "Wilted", which is expected to be released on November 13th.

Jackson has been a model, singer, and actress for several years. Together with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, she founded the duo The Soundflowers, which celebrated its first appearance in summer 2018. The Soundflowers' first EP was released in June 2020.
