Pursuing the Force of Nature trio is no easy task. Here is where find and how to capture Borneas, Demeteros and Thundurus then obtain the Totemic forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The small group of the Forces of Nature initially composed of Boreas, Demeteros and Thundurus has welcomed a new member in the person of Amovénus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Knowing that that Amovénus is available after having captured his three accomplices, so we’re going to focus on the original trio of geniuses from Unova.

To unlock Boreas, Demeteros, and Thundurus, you will first need to complete the main story and then complete Mission #26 of the Plates.

Then, you can talk to Penséa to receive the famous secondary quest n°94 “The avatars of Hisui”. The special quest will unlock access to Boreas, Demeteros, and Thundurus in Hisui. This guide walks you through where to find Legendary Three locations.

Where to find Demeteros in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Although Pansy gives you a clue to the location of each Pokémon, it’s not as easy to pin them down. Even trickier, they only appear under certain conditions!

  1. Go to the area of Obsidian Plains.
  2. Move quickly to Plateau Bivouac in the center of the map.
  3. Once there, use your mount Gueriaigle and fly south to Rosa Rugosa Island at the bottom of the region.
  4. Flying over the island, look for a tornado moving at high speed. Drop down nearby to find Demeteros.

Where to find Thundurus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Fulguris can be found in the Lazuli Coast zone. Unlike Demeteros, he will appear ONLY during a thunderstorm. Regular or light rain will not count, and the Pokémon will only appear if the weather conditions are right!

In order to change the weather, simply go to a camp and rest. Alternate between day and night until thunder comes. To find out if it is a storm, go to the map and look at the icon in the upper left corner [-] there should be the symbol of a cloud with a lightning bolt.

  1. Once you are finally in stormy weather in the Lazuli Coast area, use your Gueriaigle mount and fly up to Hand of Sand east of the map.
  2. Once you have arrived at the place, you must then head north and find the two giant pillars that rise above the ocean.
  3. Fly a tiny bit past the pillars and hover over the ocean to look for a tornado on the water.
  4. Once you see the tornado, go down to the sea in the Serenity Berry to find Thundurus

Where to find Boreas in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Finally, Boreas is in the Immaculate Lands area. There is one important condition to note, the Legendary Pokémon does not appear only in blizzard weather.

Manipulation is similar to Thundurus, you can rest at camp to manipulate weather. As soon as you see snowfall, go to the map and make sure the icon in the upper left corner looks like a symbol with snow and wind.

  1. Use Gueriaigle from your camp to fly toward the North up to Scope Polar.
  2. Once there, use your mount again to fly over the area.
  3. Look for a tornado through the snow at South of the Seracrawl Glacier to find Boreas.
  4. Genie can move a little bit but this Pokemon usually stays in this area and can often be found near a rock.

How to Capture Boreas, Demeteros, and Thundurus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Getting the original Forces of Nature trio feels a bit like an obstacle course. These are arguably the hardest Pokémon to catch in the Arceus game. Not only are they fleeing, but they also have shields and send tornadoes at you if you get too close to them.

You can stun them if you want to attack them directly, but there is another strategy to trick them:

  1. With Gueriaigle, fly at a distance far enough behind a genius. Then use a Stealth solution to silence the sound of your footsteps.
  2. After using the item, squat -you and sneak- you slowly behind the legendary.
  3. Once you are close enough to him, throw your Pokémon directly at his back to break their shield.
  4. Throw again to trigger a fight against the legendary.
  5. Now that you’re in the fight, reduce his health yellow or red, then throw a Hyper Ball. Repeat the process until the legendary is captured.
