Princess Ingrid tested positive for Corona and is in isolation. Her parents’ 20th wedding anniversary is also affected.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra (17) of Norway tested positive for the corona virus. The Norwegian royal family announced on Sunday evening (August 22). The daughter of Crown Prince Haakon (48) and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (48) are now isolating themselves at home on Skaugum, the palace reported.

The manor is her parents’ residence in Asker municipality and is about 25 kilometers from Oslo. The rest of the Crown Prince’s family has not yet tested positive.

No 20th wedding anniversary celebration

In the course of his daughter’s corona infection, the Crown Prince cannot attend various appointments on Monday (23 August). August 25th marks the 20th anniversary of Haakon’s and Mette-Marit’s wedding. The celebrations for the occasion have also been canceled. The Norwegian royal family did not provide precise information about the state of health of Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
