If Regé-Jean Page said his farewell, he also wanted to explain the reasons for his departure. In an exclusive interview with Variety, He said he knew from the start that his commitment to the series would not last, the production having been clear: “It’s a one-season plot. It’s going to have a beginning, a middle, an end – give us a year,” he remembered, before adding: “I was like ‘This is interesting’, because it looked like a limited series. I can participate, I can contribute, and then the Bridgerton family move on.” His conclusion? “I only feel enthusiasm and wish that Bridgerton set out to conquer the world. But it is also important to conclude these stories and to end on a high note. “

Simon is now set back in the plot, so this will be the opportunity to find out more about Daphne’s brother and many other interesting characters from the Netflix series.
