(Boursier.com) — Excellent start to 2024 for Stellantis Pro One, whose sales volume increased by 20.6%. The start of the year is indeed off to a rapid start with, in January, a market share of more than 33% on the European electrified vehicle market (EU29) and more than 31% on the all-energy market.

The car manufacturer consolidates its number 1 position in the utility vehicle market, being the most sold in France, Italy and Spain, both in the electric and all-energy market. In particular, Fiat Professional is the best-selling brand in Italy. Peugeot takes first place in the electric vehicle market in France with the Peugeot e-208. The Peugeot Partner and Rifter are the best-selling models in Spain on the all-energy market, gaining a market share of 9.7% for the month of January.

Stellantis is the all-electric market leader in United Kingdom with a share of 33% and recorded an increase in its all-energy market share to reach 2nd place (27.17% market share). Vauxhall is also showing great success with growth of one point compared to last year to reach 9.85% market share. Vauxhall thus takes its place as the 3rd LCV manufacturer in the United Kingdom. In Germany, Stellantis’ performance was particularly remarkable for light commercial vehicles with its brands Citroën, Fiat Professional, Peugeot and Opel, thanks to a clear increase in sales of up to 58%. Moreover, almost 1 in 4 new light commercial vehicles registered in Germany was a Stellantis vehicle.

Continuing this excellent start to the year, Stellantis will deliver a fleet of Peugeot e-Expert Hydrogen to the French company Hysetco in the coming months, European leader in hydrogen mobility. These vehicles will be offered to professionals as part of the Hysetco all-services offer (maintenance and repairs, insurance, replacement vehicles, administrative formalities, training, etc.), specifically designed for professional uses, such as the transport of people (shuttles, taxis accessible to people in wheelchairs, etc.) and logistics. This deployment will constitute the largest fleet of light utility vehicles running on hydrogen dedicated to this type of use.
