Harry Kane shakes the Bundesliga with his goals

FC Bayern is digging deep into its pockets this summer. Harry Kane is moving from Spurs to Säbener Straße for over 100 million euros. Since then he has always scored. The captain of the English national team sets a club record with a 7-0 win. A new challenge awaits him on Sunday.
Harry Kane continues to deliver. The superstar of the Bundesliga scores and scores and scores. The captain of the English national team scored three times in FC Bayern Munich’s 7-0 win against VfL Bochum. In doing so, the 100 million euro man grabbed a club record from FC Bayern Munich and shook off club legend Gerd Müller in the process.

Despite his record, Kane is not at the top of the Bundesliga’s top scorer list. Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart is enthroned there. The Guinean international player, also known as the “goal monster” on ntv.de, has already scored ten goals in just five games since Friday thanks to his two dream goals in VfB’s 3-1 win against SV Darmstadt. The 27-year-old has equaled a record set by Kane’s predecessor Robert Lewandowski.
The next task awaits Kane on Sunday
The Pole also scored ten goals in just five games in his Bundesliga career. In the 2020/2021 season he not only reached this mark, but also pushed the boundaries of league history. With his last-minute goal in the 5-2 win over FC Augsburg on May 22, 2021, he overtook the legendary Gerd Müller, whose 40 goals this season from the 1971/1972 season seemed unattainable for decades.
With Guirassy and Kane, two players are now on their way to challenge Lewandowski, who is now under contract with Barcelona, for this record for eternity. “No, I think from game to game,” said Kane when asked about his possible results in his first season in Germany.
