Terror in the New York subway! A madman in a strange getup goes into action

New disaster because of firearms in the United States. This Tuesday, April 12, at least 13 people were injured in a shooting in the New York subway, according to a spokesperson for the American city fire department. This new tragic incident took place at 36th Street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, where an important security device was put in place.

Here’s what the official statement from the NYPD reads: “At 8:27 a.m., police received an emergency call from a person who was shot on the subway in Brooklyn”. The public was asked to avoid the area immediately. Numerous amateur photos and videos showed pools of blood and several inert people on the floor of a subway train, as well as inside the “36th Street” station.

But that’s not all. A spokesperson for the New York Fire Department clarified that “Undetonated explosive devices had been found”. The schools in the area were immediately notified in order to put the children to safety. Jen Psaki, White House spokeswoman, said on her Twitter account that “the President of the United States had been informed and that the teams of the White House are in contact with the mayor of New York”.

According to numerous American media, the police are still looking for a man wearing a gas mask and wearing an orange jumpsuit. This new act of terrorism corresponds to the 296th shooting in New York in the first quarter of 2022 alone.
