A worrying gradual return to normal for some French and experts fearing a second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic. For its part, Patrick Pelloux, president of the Association of Emergency Physicians of France (Amuf) wants to be reassuring. Questioned by Hello Paris, Thursday May 21, he explains: "The mathematical models gave the possibility of an ascent (…) with a small peak which had to start now and, in fact, we do not see it."

"We must absolutely not relax"

" Patrick Pelloux continued by insisting on the need to continue to respect barrier gestures : “We absolutely must not relax. You have to wear the mask everywhere and all the time, keep your physical distance, wash your hands every hour ”.

As for the images of Parisians gathered on the Esplanade des Invalides to enjoy the sun, he reacts: “You can see your friends, but we don't kiss, we don't shake hands, keep a distance of one meter, don't do a dance party (…) it would be a shame if we lost the battle".
