Freezing temperatures and fashion don’t really go together in your head? Then we have the perfect inspiration for you! The Scandi girls know exactly how to dress fashionably in winter because they are tried and tested. We are now imitating these three winter trends.

Temperatures drop below zero degrees, it’s freezing and shivering outside – dressing fashionably in winter weather poses one or the other challenge. After all, we want to look cool, but we don’t want to risk a cold. We dare to look north to get some fashion inspiration. The Scandi girls are well versed in winter styles, after all, it is much colder for much longer in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. We are now looking at these three trends at Pernille, Victoria and Co.

The winter trends of the Scandi girls

Puffer Jackets

When it comes to puffer jackets, you can’t fool the Scandi girls. Jeanette Madsen loves them just like Pernille Teisbaek, both wear short black versions and thus prove that our wardrobes are indispensable without down jackets.

Moon boots

Inspiration from the 70s and 80s: there is hardly any other winter shoe that keeps your feet as warm as moon boots. Victoria Saceanu wears them in classic black and shows with their look that the oversized, chunky shoes can look almost elegant in the right combination.

Naomi Anwer combines her khaki-colored boots with an It jacket from The Frankie Shop and jeans – the boots look elegant here too. This trend is not new either, in the 70s and 80s they were even worn in summer. For a few seasons, the boots, which got their name because they are similar in design to the boots that the American astronauts wore when they first landed on the moon in 1969, have been fighting their way back onto the streets. They haven’t made it entirely yet, but since the Scandi girls are betting on them again this winter, we are sure that we will soon buy a pair of moon boots as well.

The so-called balaclava has been conquering the streets since November. On the catwalks of international designers: inside we spotted the headgear, which resembles a balaclava, and the Scandi girls are also betting on it.

Emili Sindlev wears her knitted piece in earth tones to “get cinnamon buns”, Camille Charrière wears her model in a light ice blue. Certainly a questionable trend – we don’t agree on it yet – one thing is certain: no other hat model keeps you so warm.
