This is how you conjure up an autumn wreath from nature

When everything is ready for winter, we will receive all sorts of gifts from Mother Nature with which we can do handicrafts.

You need:

  • Straw wreath (Ø approx. 40–50 cm)
  • Honeysuckle tendrils (Lonicera, order in the flower shop or from the garden)
  • green hydrangea flowers
  • Sloe branches with berries
  • Sage leaves
  • 6–7 small test tubes
  • Christmas roses and branches with small apples at the end of the branch (alternatively, small apples can also be put on floral wire sticks and placed in the wreath)
  • Floral wire rods, floral wire, floral scissors

That’s how it’s done:

The frame consists of a wreath of straw. First tie the bare Lonicera tendrils around it, then decorate with hydrangea flowers, sloe branches and sage leaves and secure with floral wire. Put test tubes in the gaps, pour in water and fill with Christmas roses and small apple branches.
