In "The old man and the nerve saw" (Das Erste) Jürgen Prochnow goes on a journey with a talkative Teeanger. Tom Cruise as "Jack Reacher" (ProSieben) has to solve the riddle about a sniper.

Shortly before his 75th birthday, Wilhelm Schürmann (Jürgen Prochnow) has no desire to adapt his way of life to his health problems. When, after a fit of weakness, he was supposed to give up driving and move in with his daughter Bettina (Katja Studt), the headstrong old man decided to leave. Wilhelm sets off on the road with his vintage camping bus – but not alone and anything but voluntarily. The 16-year-old runaway Felix (Marinus Hohmann) clings to Wilhelm like a burr. Felix doesn't care where it's going – the main thing is away!

The funeral is the last opportunity for Paul Böhmer (Jürgen Tonkel) to make peace with his father. And then his sister Hanna (Ursula Strauss) is kidnapped by a stranger. The perpetrators are demanding 250,000 euros from the estate of the old Böhmer. The fact that his father had an estate is new to Paul and shouldn't be the only surprise in this case.

Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is a shy outsider who grows up with his Aunt May (Rosemary Harris) and uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson) and secretly loves his classmate Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst). While visiting a museum, Peter is bitten by a genetically manipulated spider and develops fantastic powers: he is super powerful, can climb walls and spin webs. In addition, a "spider's mind" warns him of approaching dangers.

Anna Janneke (Margarita Broich) and Paul Brix (Wolfram Koch), chief inspectors in Frankfurt, are called to a gruesome find: body parts wrapped in plastic bags. It quickly turns out that the victim comes from Kassel. It's 17-year-old Luke Rohde, stepson of the nation's sonny boy, popular TV talk master Maarten Jansen (Barry Atsma). With his wife Kirsten (Stephanie Eidt) and their two sons from their first marriage, Jansen had led an idyllic family life until then.
