The Spider-Man: No Way Home movie script has been released in full. It is titled with the original code name, “Serenity Now”.
The third Spider-Man film with Tom Holland was expected at the turn and, the least we can say is that Spider-Man: No Way Home did not disappoint. And even as February 2022 approaches, it hasn’t left the top of the box office since its theatrical release in late December 2021.
Spider-Man: No Way Home owes its success to its ambition in terms of the number of twists and winks that are an integral part of the script. From the start, the film aroused a form of excitement by involving us in the game. Long before the release, we asked ourselves a thousand questions. Will the old Spider-Man be there? What will cause the breach in the multiverse? Is such a teaser scene a reference to such an old film?
This feeling, surprisingly, is not deactivated on viewing, quite the contrary. Like the applause that could take place in certain cinemas during highly anticipated scenes, No Way Home involves, takes us by surprise, and it’s fun.

Code name: Serenity Now
It is more precisely the screen play, which, in cinematographic jargon, refers to the scenario including the dialogues of the characters, scene by scene. In this case, we owe this screenplay to Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who had already worked on the two previous opuses of the franchise.
A few elements of the script are fun. For example, the way Andrew Garfield and Peter Maguire are mentioned. The first is designated as “Webb-verse Peter” and the second “Raimi-verse Peter”, in reference, in both cases, to the name of the director who piloted their respective films. The script also shows, and quite regularly, a lot of enthusiasm during the key scenes where the three Spider-Man are reunited.
As for the title of the screenplay, which you will see on the front page after opening the PDF file… you may be wondering why it is titled “Serenity Now”. It’s a code name, a kind of decoy. When filming for the film began in 2020, the project’s name was ‘Serenity Now’ — that’s what it read on the posters around filming locations. This had prevented the true title of the film from being leaked, No Way Home.
