Jan 26 (Reuters) – Boeing said on Wednesday it took a $3.5 billion (3.1 billion euros) charge in the fourth quarter due to longer-than-expected delivery delays of its 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The American aircraft manufacturer, competitor of Airbus, nevertheless generated a positive cash flow in the fourth quarter, for the first time since the beginning of 2019, helped by the deliveries of its 737 MAX planes against a backdrop of the resumption of air traffic.
