After Wayne Lineker and Chloe Ferry announced their ‘engagement’ on Instagram, their Celebs Go Dating co-star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has now revealed the truth.
The former Coronation Street actress, who previously revealed she was pansexual, said the pair are strictly friends, and are not in a relationship let alone engaged.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, the 33 year old divulged: “I asked him (Wayne) about it, I knew this question was coming. I asked him, ‘What was that?’.
“He said, ‘This would always be happening’. They were always gonna release that picture, but then didn’t, they forgot.

“They just did it anyway, they’re mates, they’re having a laugh. Them two get trolled a lot, so they were just like, ‘If you’re gonna say stuff, let’s just have it.'”
Despite the pair having a laugh with their ‘engagement’, Kimberly said she had no idea they were going to do it and was left shocked.
She continued: “I didn’t know it was gonna happen. I’m in work doing a shoot, and the next thing, my phone is going off.
“It was just funny, there is no relationship, there is none, they’re not engaged, they’re just friends.
“They’re naughty and they’re still being naughty now,” she added.

Wayne, 58, and Chloe, 25, confused fans when they announced their ‘engagement’ on Instagram on 24 February.
The club owner shared two pictures of the pair posing together in the Celebs Go Dating Mansion on his Instagram.
In the first photo, Chloe can be seen holding up her hand and flaunting a massive ring on her finger.
The second showed the pair looking into one another’s eyes as the Geordie Shore star held Wayne’s face.

The dad-of-four, who previously underwent surgery, captioned the snaps: “She said YES! Love you @chloegshore1” followed by a ring and winking face emoji.
Chloe commented on the post, writing: “Love you,” and even shared it on her own Instagram stories for her 3.6million followers to see.
Wayne’s son Sean Lineker also sent his well wishes, as well as the pair’s Celebs Go Dating co-stars Tom Zanetti, Sophie Hermann and Curtis Pritchard, leaving fans confused.
