For most of us during lockdown, we’ve been forced to go without getting our make-up and hair done professionally, and one person who has been dealing with the effects of that is Holly Willoughby, who has been forced to do her own hair and make-up for This Morning.
The busy mum-of-three took to Instagram to post a video of her hair and make-up routine before her final appearance on the daytime television program, before she goes on her well-earned summer break.
Wearing a navy The Streets hoodie, Holly can be seen blow drying her wet hair and combing it, before clipping it back to focus on her make-up.
The 39-year-old applies a full face of make-up with foundation, concealer, bronzer and some eye-shadow for the perfect natural look.
Clearly missing her glam squad, Holly captioned the Instagram video: “109 days of lockdown… missing my @patsyoneillmakeup and @cilerpeksah_hairstylist. Here’s hoping this is the final time I do this.”
Fans loved Holly’s video, with many asking her for tips on how she styles her hair and achieves her gorgeous end result.
Just three days before posting her hair and make-up routine video on Instagram, Holly posted a picture of her lusciously long blonde locks, which she hasn’t been able to have cut during lockdown.
Asking her followers for advice on whether she should cut it or not, Holly said, “Sooo… what do I do with this??? Chop or not to chop?” (sic)
“Hair has grown like crazy… imagine the roots I’d have by now!!!”, she continued.
Some of Holly’s celeb pals rushed to comment on her locks and help her decide what she should do with it.
Rochelle Humes said, “I love it,”, whilst Holly’s former Celebrity Juice co-star Keith Lemon said, “Whatever ya do you’ll still look ace.”
Former Eastenders actress Martine McCutcheon commented, “I love your hair longer @hollywilloughby You can rock both but longer is just so gorgeous on you x.”
Echoing the thoughts of the nation, Holly’s This Morning co-star Alison Hammond wrote, “I mean does it matter? You can’t improve on perfection.”
While Holly was debating whether to chop her locks or not, one person who couldn’t wait to get his barnet cut now that lockdown rules have been eased was Holly’s This Morning co-host and close friend, Phillip Schofield.
Posting a picture of himself sat in the barber chair, alongside celebrity hairdresser Lino Carbosiero MBE, Phillip wrote, “Finally I can visit @linocarbosiero.”
