For the first time after the birth of Baby Lilibet, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are visiting an event together again.

After the birth of Baby Lilibet in June 2021, Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) largely withdrew from the public. Next Saturday (September 25th) the two-time parents will appear again for the first time at an event. A visit to the “Global Citizen Live” event in New York’s Central Park is planned. The organization writes on its official website. Harry and Meghan should therefore be live on site.

The focus of the event is the importance of worldwide equal access to vaccines. Duchess Meghan had already drawn attention to this topic in May of this year during a virtual speech as part of the “Vax Live” concert by Global Citizen. Together with her husband Prince Harry, the 40-year-old has been an ambassador for the vaccination campaign since the beginning of the year.

Rare appearance

For Harry and Meghan, it is the first public appearance together since the birth of their daughter Lilibet. Since then, the two have only been seen together in video conferences. Harry last attended public and family events, such as the funeral service of Prince Philip (1921-2021) or the unveiling of the Diana statue, on his own.

Together with Lili and son Archie (2), the couple has been living in Montecito, California, since the beginning of 2020.
